Williamsburg Royal Scroll was made by Lenox-Kirk Stieff for a number of years, but starting in 2007, Reed and Barton licensed the pattern from the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. The design is based on a classical reeded column. Revivals of ancient Greek and Roman designs were all the rage in the early 19th century.
